- Assist the subject matter expert (SME) on large scale AE Active Directory hardening of medium to high complexity environments
- Act as an advisor on best practices for designing robust architecture to enable the business
- Maintain industry leading knowledge of current and emerging technologies, products, and trends related to Active Directory architecture and management
- Participating in the definition and assisting programs that support the enterprise strategy and architecture for secure access management services, mechanisms and safeguards
- Work in active partnership with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop supporting security principles and objectives that will enable the secure growth and evolution of UnitedHealth Group (and communicating those requirements to security and risk management stakeholders throughout the enterprise)
- Contributing to consistent patterns and frameworks to evolve the company's security architecture and a clear, comprehensive security framework (and promoting those requirements through partnership with enterprise architecture and IT governance functions)
- Providing consulting to business owners and application teams in addressing their requirements to connect their application(s) or service(s) to Active Directory
- Participating in the 24x7 On-Call rotation supporting the Active Directory infrastructure
- Recommending changes, when appropriate, to security policies and control standards and operational practices
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
- 8+ years of experience designing, managing, or maintaining Active Directory environments for a large enterprise, or as a consultant to large organizations
- Knowledge of AD architecture, infrastructure, platform, and data security
- Specific experience in architecture, engineering, deployment and/or operational management of enterprise access management solutions
- PowerShell scripting experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure AD Connect services
