SUMMARY: Assist the organization’s human resources department by planning and implementing onboarding employment policies and practices. Support the daily human resources activities. Acts as a liaison between HR, new hires and current employees, promote effective communication and prompt resolution of inquiries. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other HR duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree and one year of human resources related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. HRIS experience preferred. Knowledge of EEO, State and Federal Regulations and Guidelines a plus.

- Conduct required background checks for new hires.
- Assist with orientation process of all new hires.
- Ensures compliance of I9 paperwork for all employees.
- Support and back up other HR functions as necessary.
- Assist the Director of HR with all other personnel matters and projects as needed.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and competent computer skills.
- Highly organized, excellent time management and ability to multitask.
