Job Description

An HTML Programmer (or HTML Developer) is responsible for coding, structuring, and maintaining websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. They translate design mockups into functional, responsive, and accessible web pages, collaborating with designers and back-end developers to ensure optimal performance, cross-browser compatibility, and user experience. Key Responsibilities
Coding & Structure: Write clean, semantic HTML5 code to create website structure.
Styling & Responsiveness: Apply CSS to create visually appealing layouts that are responsive across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
Design Implementation: Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and PSD files into functional web pages.
Functionality & Interaction: Use JavaScript to add interactivity and frontend functionality.
Optimization: Ensure high-performance, fast loading times, and SEO-friendly structures.
Troubleshooting: Debug issues and ensure cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Design Tools: Familiarity with design software (e.g., Photoshop, Figma) and understanding of web design principles.
Version Control: Knowledge of Git.
Performance & Accessibility: Experience with optimizing page speed and implementing web accessibility standards (WCAG).
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and collaboration skills. Common Job Requirements
Proven experience as an HTML Developer, Frontend Developer, or similar role.
A portfolio demonstrating responsive web design projects. Understanding of W3C web standards.
