Responsibilities include prospecting, sales calls, site tours, reporting, budget management, and using CRM systems, with a focus on achieving targets for room nights and revenue.
Key Responsibilities** Prospecting & Sales:** Identify, contact, and secure new business (corporate accounts, groups, events) through cold calls, emails, and networking.** Client Management:** Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients for repeat business, managing accounts via CRM.** Strategy & Planning:** Develop and implement sales strategies, set targets, analyze market trends, and create sales forecasts.** Marketing & Promotions:** Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, create presentations, and promote hotel services.** Coordination:** Liaise with other hotel departments (catering, events, operations) for seamless event execution and guest satisfaction.** Reporting:** Monitor sales KPIs, track performance against goals, and prepare management reports. Core DutiesConduct site inspections and client interviews.Negotiate contracts and close deals.Attend trade shows and industry events.Prepare proposals and sales materials. Essential Skills & QualificationsProven sales experience, preferably in hospitality.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Business acumen and understanding of hotel revenue management.Proficiency with sales software (CRM, Delphi).Bachelor's degree often preferred (Business/Hospitality).
