Role & Responsibilities:

• Must have strong legal negotiating skills.
• Legal Compliance: Ensure the organisation complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Monitor and manage legal compliance programs and policies.
• Corporate Governance: Provide guidance on corporate governance best practices. Support the board of directors and executive team in governance matters.
• Contract Management: Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts and agreements. Ensure all contracts comply with legal and corporate policies.
• Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies. Provide legal advice and support on risk management activities.
• Regulatory Affairs: Coordinate with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of regulatory filings. Maintain relationships with government agencies and industry bodies.
• Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Manage litigation and dispute resolution processes. Coordinate with external legal counsel on legal matters.
• Corporate Transactions: Support mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions. Conduct legal due diligence and ensure compliance with transactional requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all legal and corporate affairs activities. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
