Job Description:
As a Software developer for JIRA environment, you develop and maintain automation workflows in Atlassian JIRA and other Atlassian products as needed. You build and deploy servers and applications, develop plugins, web and desktop applications to extend JIRA capabilities, make dashboards for JIRA Connect add-ons, configure custom fields, support JIRA configurations that include all client requirements, create custom preset filters, test outcomes, and identify defects.
Other duties include upgrading and enhancing JIRA projects, defining and executing SDLC tasks, and documenting and maintaining the SDLC.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing custom solutions within Jira. Your expertise will help streamline workflows, ensure seamless integrations, and improve the overall functionality and effectiveness of the Jira platform to meet business requirements.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Software Developer with hands-on expertise in JIRA.
Key Skills And Experience
Strong programming and development experience using Python, C#, and JavaScript for developing custom Jira plugins and applications.
Knowledge/ Familiarity in Jira administration, configuration, and development - including workflows, permissions, dashboards, and reporting.
Solid understanding of REST APIs and experience in system integrations involving Jira and other enterprise tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for issue diagnosis and resolution.
Proven ability to work in cross-functional and cross-geo teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Highly responsible and responsive in managing Jira infrastructure and supporting users.
