When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the GIS(FME) team you will be part of the development, design, and delivery of Geographic Information System services to support utility industry clients. As a Manager, you supervise and mentor junior team members, manage diverse perspectives, and foster consensus to achieve favorable results. You integrate strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and successful collaboration to drive GIS initiatives across various client functions, including GIS applications, data conversions, and system integrations.

Responsibilities
- Converting spatial data using Safe Software’s FME Flow and FME Form
- In-depth knowledge of FME workbenches for Data transformation
- Ability to create Data Extracts through FME workbenches- for source and destination systems during interface development.
- Identify suitable transformers for complex data transformation tasks- attribute merger, change detection etc.
- Deploying FME workbenches in the Server environment
- Troubleshooting SQL queries in PostGIS, Oracle, SQL databases
- Performing Postgres spatial functions, using pgAdmin, MySQL, or other SQL databases
- Experience working with datasets in JSON file format
- Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.
- Minimum of 3 years’ working experience with FME Form and Flow.
- Extensive development experience in FME workbenches for GIS Interfaces, and data transformation scenarios.
- Ability to build custom workbenches, integrate with Esri Geoprocessing tools.
- Knowledge of ArcPy and Esri Model Builder
- Understanding of Esri ArcGIS Software (Enterprise, Desktop, Server, ArcGIS Pro, Online)
- Understanding of Utilities Domain and Esri Utility Network
- Understanding of Geodatabases: Versioning and Spatial data Types and PostGIS spatial functions.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to ever-changing situations
- Exemplary problem solver skills and excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience working in the Utilities domain will be an added advantage, along with domain knowledge specific to Electric or Gas
- Knowledge of Esri Utility Network- Core Principles: SubNetwork, Associations, Containment, Tracing etc.
- In Depth knowledge of ArcGIS Pro and Geoprocessing functions.
- Experience with the Agile methodology and Jira software
- Advanced Excel capabilities
