Job Description
Role Purpose
As a Guest Service Associate, you are the face of our hotel and the first point of contact for our guests. You will ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and supported throughout their stay by delivering efficient front office operations and exceptional service in line with IHG brand standards.

As a Guest Service Associate, you are the face of our hotel and the first point of contact for our guests. You will ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and supported throughout their stay by delivering efficient front office operations and exceptional service in line with IHG brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to all guests
- Acknowledge IHG One Rewards members and returning guests
- Perform smooth and accurate guest check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle reservations, cancellations, room assignments, and up-selling opportunities
- Manage cash and credit card transactions responsibly
- Respond promptly to guest requests, messages, and concerns
- Maintain accurate guest records, including preferences and special requests
- Act as a trusted point of contact for guest inquiries, billing issues, and local information
- Follow all safety, security, and brand standard operating procedures
- Maintain professional appearance and act as a brand ambassador
- Support colleagues with ad-hoc duties when required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Guest-focused mindset with good problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in the local language (additional languages are an advantage)
- Basic computer literacy and numeracy skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent (higher qualification preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience in front office or guest service role preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and perform physical tasks as required
