Job Description

DESIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: -

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Marine, Offshore Engineering, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of hands-on experience in estimation, preferably within the Marine, Offshore, or Oil & Gas sectors.
Strong technical knowledge of shipbuilding, offshore fabrication, piping systems, and marine equipment.
Proficient in estimation software, MS Excel, and AutoCAD (preferred).
Familiarity with international marine and offshore industry standards and regulations.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: -

Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to clearly define project scope and technical requirements.
Prepare detailed and accurate man-hour estimates for marine, offshore, and oil & gas engineering projects.
Analyse manpower, resources, and equipment requirements to ensure realistic and competitive project budgets.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain technical and commercial quotations.
Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, design, and project teams to ensure estimates align with technical and execution requirements.
Prepare and submit technical proposals in compliance with client specifications and deadlines.
Support sales and business development teams during client negotiations by providing man-hour breakdowns and technical clarifications.
Monitor project progress and assist in the preparation of variation orders during execution.
Ensure all estimation and proposal activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
