Job Description

Title; Laboratory Technician

Pay: 45-55k Base


We are not able to accept candidate that require sponsorship now or in the future

Job Purpose

  • Support scientists by batching formulas and preparing customer prototypes
  • Ensure daily lab activities meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Batch formulas with minor modifications and update formulas in Wildware
  • Perform basic analytical testing (pH, Brix, TA, spectrophotometer)
  • Screen flavors and colors; assist with product development
  • Set up sensory triangle tests and conduct stability testing (under supervision)
  • Generate demo sheet data and prepare customer samples
  • Use AS400 and LEAD systems to research information and generate shipments
  • Follow ISO procedures and laboratory safety standards

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or higher; 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Food science or chemistry background a plus
  • Strong basic math skills (ratios, scaling, percentages)
  • Familiarity with basic scientific concepts and terminology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Comfortable working with lab instruments and data reporting
