Engineer – Quality Assurance

The Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure that software products meet the highest quality standards and align with end-user requirements. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, develop test frameworks, and analyze results for continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks across various applications.
Implement test automation strategies and processes to maximize test coverage and efficiency.
Serve as the first line of debugging support for the development team and internal stakeholders.
Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a proactive approach in all assigned tasks.
Participate actively in Agile sprints from the design and planning phases onward.
Contribute to in-house R&D initiatives and continuous improvement of testing methodologies.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience: 2–4 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, Python).
Hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, Cucumber, or Pytest.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify and isolate issues efficiently.
A creative and curious mindset, with an inclination to challenge norms and contribute innovative ideas to product quality.
