Job Description

Main Responsibilities Linux Server Environment

Proven experience as a Linux operating systems, Server & Storage Administrator, or similar role
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat).
Install, configure, and troubleshoot LDAP, and LDAP authentication.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot WEB server (Apache2, Nginx,Tomcat)
Familiarity with security tools and protocols (e.g., SELinux, iptables)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
Ability to develop automation scripts for system management tasks.
Apply system patches and updates to ensure a secure and up to date
Develop and implement backup strategies to safeguard critical data.

Windows Server Environment:

O/S support Windows Server 2016, 2019,2022 and 2025
Configure/maintain Active Directory Domain Services and Group policy management.
Configure/maintain DNS, DHCP, File Server, Web Server (IIS).
Configure/maintain Windows server, various roles and features
Apply system patches and updates to ensure a secure and up to date

Cloud:

Basic understanding of cloud platforms like Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. General Responsibilities:
Maintain a definitive library for OS, Applications, product guides, device firmware, etc.
Maintain and update configuration documents
Maintain assets and software license/subscriptions
Vendor coordination and support
Maintain SLAs and do timely escalations.
Report all incident/service/change requests in the helpdesk tool.
Provide after-hour support in case of emergencies and occasional weekend maintenance.

Qualification

Skills:

Excellent troubleshooting skills
Proven experience as a Linux operating systems, Windows Server Administrator, or similar role
Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
Very good communication abilities
Server & Storage management.
Reporting
