Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Electron.js Developer to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in building desktop applications using Electron.js, along with strong knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and front-end technologies.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving cross-platform desktop applications. You should be comfortable working closely with designers, backend developers, and product teams to create smooth, user-friendly, and high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain desktop applications using Electron.js
- Build clean, scalable, and efficient code
- Integrate desktop apps with APIs and backend services
- Debug, troubleshoot, and improve application performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new features and product improvements
- Ensure application security, stability, and responsiveness
- Participate in testing, deployment, and version updates
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in Electron.js development
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks
- Experience with API integration and third-party libraries
- Good understanding of desktop application architecture
- Familiarity with Git/version control
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with React.js, Vue.js, or Angular
- Knowledge of SQLite, local storage, or offline-first applications
- Understanding of application packaging and deployment for Windows/macOS/Linux
