Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Electronics Design Engineer with a strong background in sensor technology, embedded electronics, and analog/digital circuit design for electromechanical products including solenoids and valves. The ideal candidate will lead the development of OEM-grade sensor solutions such as reed switches, pressure, temperature, humidity sensors, and control electronics including PWM drivers and proportional control systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of embedded electronic circuits and PCBs for sensor-integrated electromechanical products.
  • Develop custom sensor-based solutions including PWM circuits, Remote control Circuits, PID control circuits, Motor controller for Servo motors, PMDC motors, reed switch sensors, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, thermocouples, and humidity sensors.
  • Design and validate PWM-based coil driver circuits, proportional solenoid control systems, Motor Driver Circuits, Embedded Circuits and signal conditioning circuits & sensors.
  • Create and manage multi-layer PCB designs using industry-standard tools (Altium, Eagle, KiCad, etc.).
  • Perform analog and digital circuit simulations using tools like LTspice, Multisim, or PSpice.
  • Define circuit specifications, sensor calibration logic, and EMI/EMC compliance strategy.
  • Program embedded circuits for firmware integration and hardware-software co-design.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and product certification teams for robust end-to-end integration.
  • Develop and manage documentation for design files, BOMs, Gerbers, schematics, test procedures, and validation reports.
  • Support PCB prototyping, assembly, testing, and debugging.
  • Interface with PCB manufacturers and EMS vendors for productionization and quality assurance.
  • Participate in product certification processes – CE, RoHS, REACH, EMC, IP65/67 ratings for electronics.
  • Conduct DFMEA, root cause analysis, and product performance validation under real-world conditions.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to R&D knowledge sharing and patentable innovations.
  • Mandatory Skills & Competencies:

    • Proficient in sensor circuit design, low power electronics, and signal conditioning techniques.
    • Deep knowledge of reed switch-based sensing, Hall sensors, thermocouple interfacing, RTD circuits, pressure transducers, and humidity measurement principles.
    • Hands-on experience with PWM control circuits, proportional valve driver circuits, and coil actuation logic.
    • Strong expertise in PCB CAD tools – Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad, or OrCAD.
    • Familiar with DFM/DFT principles, PCB stack-up, thermal layout considerations and component derating.
    • Practical exposure to EMI/EMC standards, surge protection, and PCB shielding strategies.
    • OEM-level design capabilities for reliability, durability, and compactness.
    • Knowledge of safety-critical design, reverse polarity protection, and ESD suppression.
    • Strong debugging skills using oscilloscope, logic analyser, multimeter, LCR meter, and simulation tools.
    • Experience in working with cross-functional teams for end-to-end product development.


    Preferred Attributes:

    • Experience with CAN, UART, I2C, SPI protocols for sensor communication.
    • Familiarity with microcontroller selection and integration (e.g., STM32, MSP430, PIC).
    • Knowledge of IoT-ready sensor platforms and BLE/wireless communication modules.
    • Involvement in designing for rugged industrial environments with high temperature and vibration tolerance.
    • Exposure to modular design, interface standardization, and scalable sensor platforms.
    • Ability to lead proof of concept (PoC) and new technology evaluation projects.
