Job Description

5 to 10 years of experience in electrical maintenance of port or heavy lifting equipment (Liebherr, Konecranes,Italgru etc.) and Bromma

spreaders. Hands-on experience with Mobile Harbour Cranes, RTGs, and Bromma spreaders.Experience working in container terminals or ports is highly preferred.

Electrical Maintenance

Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of MHCs, RTGs, and Bromma spreaders.
Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and control panels.
Ensure proper functioning of power distribution, cabling, earthing, and protection systems.

Control Automation Systems

Diagnose faults in PLC, HMI, and control systems.
Support crane automation features such as anti-sway, load monitoring, and safety interlocks.
Assist with software backups and parameter management.

Spreader Crane Systems

Maintain and troubleshoot Bromma spreaders, including twist-locks, telescopic systems, and safety devices.
Coordinate with OEMs and service providers during major works
Ensure correct operation of interlocks, sensors, and communication systems.

Documentation Reporting

Ensure SAP and other system hygiene requirement from time to time. In time entry of the maintenance activities in SAP and
keeping all the documents updated and readily available.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, checklists, and inspection reports.
Prepare daily progress reports, breakdown analysis, and root cause reports.
Verify work completion and sign-off maintenance activities.

Safety Compliance

Follow and enforce electrical safety standards and port safety procedures.
Ensure compliance with LOTO, risk assessments, and safe work practices.
Promote a strong safety culture at site.

Team Coordination

Supervise technicians and helpers on site in shifts.
Provide technical guidance to technicians and electricians.
Coordinate with operations, planning, and vendors to minimize downtime.
Support training and skill development of maintenance staff.
Ensure good housekeeping at machine area and execute other work assigned to him.
