Overview
NPMA is seeking an experienced District Manager to oversee a portfolio of apartment communities within our growing property management company. This role leads multi-site operations, supports Reginal Managers and Property Managers and drives occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction across the district.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee operations for multiple residential properties / apartment communities
- Supervise and mentor Property Managers, leasing teams, and maintenance staff
- Monitor occupancy rates, leasing performance, and resident retention
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and expense control
- Conduct property inspections and operational audits
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, company policies, and safety standards
- Partner with leadership on marketing, leasing strategy, and revenue growth
- Review of financial reports, KPIs, and property performance metrics
- 3-5 years of property management experience
- Multi-site management experience
- Strong knowledge of apartment operations, budgeting, reporting, and property financials
- Experience with Isolved (payroll platform) and property management software, MRI and Nexus are a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Certified Property Manager (CPM) or similar certification is a plus
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between properties
