Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture to design, build, and enhance enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both backend and frontend development, knowledgeable in cloud‑native patterns, and experienced in delivering scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
Build resilient RESTful APIs following best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
Work with messaging and event-driven systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, or Pub/Sub.
Implement integration patterns, orchestrations, and workflow components as needed.
Ensure high-quality code through unit tests (JUnit, Mockito), integration tests, and CI/CD alignment.
Develop user-facing features using frameworks such as React.js / Next.js, or equivalent.
Collaborate with UI/UX teams to translate mockups into responsive, intuitive interfaces.
Optimize application usability, accessibility, and performance across devices.
Deploy and manage applications on cloud providers such as Azure, OCI, AWS, or GCP.
Containerize and orchestrate services using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
Work with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Tekton, Maven/Gradle, SonarQube, NexusIQ).

Collaboration & Process

Work in an Agile/Scrum environment—participate in ceremonies, sprint planning, and reviews.
Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and enforce secure coding and engineering best practices.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including architects, QA, DevOps, and product owners.

Required Skills & Experience

4–10 years of full stack development experience (or as per your staffing range).
Strong proficiency in Java (8+ or 17), Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, JVM fundamentals.
Proven experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Solid experience in frontend frameworks: React/ JavaScript / TypeScript.
Hands-on with Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, build tools (Maven/Gradle).
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.
Knowledge of cloud-native design, security fundamentals, and performance optimization.

Good to Have

Familiarity with serverless, event-driven architectures, and cloud security.
Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Instana).
Understanding of API gateways, service mesh, or distributed tracing.
Prior experience in retail domain or global multi-team environments.
