Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs tailored to the CGD operations in Balasore, ensuring alignment with Adani Total Gas’s safety standards.
Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification for PNG and CNG distribution systems, ensuring proactive mitigation measures are in place.
Oversee the safety protocols during the installation, maintenance, and operation of gas distribution infrastructure, ensuring zero incidents.
Lead safety training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders to foster a safety-first culture.
Monitor and ensure adherence to environmental standards, focusing on minimizing the environmental impact of CGD operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HSE practices into ongoing projects and daily operations.
Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, preparing detailed reports and implementing corrective actions.
Utilize digital tools and analytics to track HSE performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in safety standards.
Support the GA Head in achieving strategic HSE objectives and contribute to the overall operational efficiency of the Balasore CGD network.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance HSE performance within the gas distribution sector.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment roles, preferably within the oil & gas or energy distribution sectors.
