• Lead the electrical and mechanical design of power transformers, ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as IS, IEC, and IEEE, while effectively managing the design team.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and competitive benchmarks related to transformer design parameters.
• Drive innovation in transformer design, implement standardized design practices, and maintain a strong focus on design quality.
• Demonstrate proficiency in design analysis using specialized software tools such as ANSYS, electromagnetic simulation platforms, and power system analysis tools.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tenders and projects, with support from senior designers.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) for resolving design-related issues.
• Possess knowledge and experience in Ultra High Voltage (UHV) transformer designs.
• Mentor new designers and conduct both classroom and on-the-job training sessions.
• Actively participate in national and international forums to represent the organization and stay engaged with global developments in transformer technology.

B Tech in Electrical Engineering

Candidate Profile

The candidate should have over 20 years of experience in the power transformer and reactor manufacturing industry, with expertise up to 765kV voltage class.

Proven leadership experience, having led a team of 25–30+ members in design and development functions.
