Job Description

Role Summary

The Research Analyst will provide operational support across the Deposit Operations lifecycle, including reconciliations, account servicing, payments, exceptions, and reporting.

The role requires high attention to detail, process discipline, and adherence to U.S. regulatory and audit standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily deposit reconciliations across GL, settlement, and suspense accounts; identify and log variances.
Process account setup, maintenance, and closure requests with complete documentation and dual control.
Support ACH and wire-processing workflows — posting, returns, and cutoff validation under NACHA and internal timelines.
Review overdraft and Reg O monitoring reports; flag exceptions and prepare escalation logs.
Assist in regulatory and tax reporting (1099-INT, 1042-S, W-8BEN, B-Notice handling, W-9 validation).
Maintain documentation quality and audit evidence for all processed transactions.
Participate in QA sampling and control reviews to ensure compliance with policies and audit requirements.

Skills & Experience

1–4 years of experience in banking or financial-operations support (Deposit, Payments, or Reconciliations).
Working knowledge of core banking and payment systems (FIS, Fiserv, TLM, Frontier, Hogan, etc.).
Understanding of U.S. banking regulations such as Reg E, Reg CC, Reg O, and NACHA guidelines.

Strong analytical and documentation skills with high process accuracy
