Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Databricks Developer with strong hands‑on experience in Azure Databricks, Python, Hive, and SQL. The candidate will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions on Azure cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Databricks
• Implement data transformations using Python APIs / PySpark on Databricks
• Work with large‑scale datasets using Hive and SQL for querying and optimization
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data
• Integrate Databricks with Azure services such as ADLS, ADF, Synapse
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization in Databricks and Hive
• Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders for solution design
• Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of data jobs
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and compliance with security standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks
• Proficiency in Python (Databricks Python API / PySpark)
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Hive
• Experience working in Azure cloud environment
• Good understanding of Big Data concepts, data modeling, ETL processes
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
