Job Summary:

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 Days - Work from Office)

Role Objective

Provide hands-on database development, administration, and integration support for PropTech Cloud platforms using TimescaleDB (MST), Snowflake, and Grafana, ensuring stable operations, performant queries, and reliable data pipelines.

Scope of Responsibilities

1. TimescaleDB (MST) Development

• Develop and maintain TimescaleDB schemas, hypertables, indexes, and SQL queries
• Implement and maintain retention policies, compression, and continuous aggregates
• Support application teams with query tuning and data modeling
• Troubleshoot performance and data consistency issues

2. Database Administration & Operations

• Monitor database health and performance in TimescaleDB Managed Service (MST)
• Perform index optimization and query performance analysis
• Support backup validation and incident investigation within managed-service limits
• Assist with capacity and growth analysis

3. Vendor Support Coordination

• Serve as primary operational contact with Timescale support
• Open, track, and manage support tickets
• Communicate resolutions and recommended actions to Prologis stakeholders

4. TimescaleDB Snowflake Data Integrations

• Build and maintain data pipelines between TimescaleDB and Snowflake
• Support batch and scheduled data loads
• Validate schema alignment and data quality
• Troubleshoot integration and load failures

5. Grafana Dashboards

• Develop and maintain Grafana dashboards backed by TimescaleDB and Snowflake
• Optimize dashboard queries for performance and stability
• Perform basic analytics to support operational use cases

6. Snowflake Development

• Develop and maintain Snowflake tables, views, and SQL transformations
• Support analytics and reporting requirements
• Optimize SQL for performance and cost efficiency

Deliverables

• Production-ready SQL objects (schemas, tables, views, indexes)
• Operational Grafana dashboards
• Reliable TimescaleDB-Snowflake data pipelines
• Documented support procedures and known issues
• Timely resolution of database-related incidents

Required Consultant Qualifications

• 3-5 years hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL-based preferred)
• Practical experience with TimescaleDB or comparable time-series databases
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills
• Experience with Snowflake development and support
• Experience building or maintaining Grafana dashboards
• Familiarity with managed cloud database services (AWS preferred)

Mandatory Skill Validation

Consultants must provide verified results from third-party technical assessments completed within the last 24 months.
