The Role

The Data Management Engineer is responsible for maintaining the latest CAD data in PLM Teamcenter by upload and download the files based on Design/Engineering team’s requirement and ensure the latest revision inline to the customer delivered files. Also need to support the Engineering team on preparing Commercial component buy off, build files, Booklet PPT and BOM preparation. Also need to support on the 3D model cleanup and 2D drawing creation. This position reports to the Design Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as a Data management expert in the areas of PLM Teamcenter management Including downloading and uploading the latest CAD data in the PLM software.
• You will be the responsible to ensure the latest data uploaded into Teamcenter once release the deliveries to the customer end.
• You will be responsible for maintaining one single source of truth for mechanical engineering drawings, through ensuring the version control within Teamcenter, and controlling and documenting engineering change requests.
• Support the Engineering team in preparing the mechanical component of the commercial buy off documents to share the vendor for approval.
• Working with internal engineering leads to prepare tool booklets for customer reviews.
• Provide support to the Engineering team with 3D model cleanup (3D finish), using Siemens NX.
• Supporting engineers with 3D/2D design prep, BOMs, documentation preparation, and releases for customer delivery.
• Coordinating cross‑functionally to keep data aligned across internal teams, sites and customers.
  
  

Essential

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or related field
• Basic experience in 3D modelling and detailing
• Minimum 2-4 years data management experience.
• Basic experience in Siemens NX
• Experience with PLM software - Siemens Teamcenter is highly preferred
• Ability to maintain discipline, structure, and excellent communication, acting as an internal service‑desk function
• Highly competent with Microsoft Office
• Must have a high level of attention to detail and sense of urgency

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel objects, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, talk and hear.
