Job Description

Job Title: Data Entry Specialist III (Onsite)

Location: Onsite

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pay: $16.48/hr

Assignment: Potential for long-term extension

Position Summary

The Data Entry Specialist III is responsible for verifying and inputting data accurately using various data entry devices. This role emphasizes a high level of keystroke proficiency, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel. The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of data entry or customer service experience and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate data entry devices to input and verify information with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Review and approve warranty claims.
  • Enter RIDs into the GOMS system and input data into specific data fields as required.
  • Obtain unload receive reports daily from the warehouse and scan them to a shared folder for the customer service team.
  • Follow all warehouse safety protocols, including wearing steel-toed shoes and other safety gear when inside the warehouse.
  • Operate available warehouse carts after on-the-job training (if carts are not available, walking to retrieve reports is required).
  • Exercise independent judgment under supervisor direction in day-to-day tasks.

Required Skills & Experience

Additional Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5–7 years of related data entry or customer service experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and documentation skills.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Basic mentoring skills to provide support and performance feedback.

Additional Information

  • Role is fully onsite; remote work is not available.
  • Must wear steel-toed shoes and required safety gear in warehouse areas (not required in the office).
  • No overtime is expected; standard working hours apply.
  • Candidates with knowledge of warehouse safety procedures are preferred.
