Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or similar roles, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in large datasets.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data entry software; experience with CRM systems or project management tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with data management and database software such as Microsoft Access, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of engineering terminology and data processes is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Accurately enter and update data into internal systems, databases, and spreadsheets, ensuring completeness and correctness.
- Cross-check data for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and make necessary corrections to maintain data integrity.
- Organize, categorize, and maintain electronic and paper records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in generating routine and ad-hoc reports by compiling data from various sources and presenting it clearly.
- Regularly update and clean data, removing outdated or inaccurate records to preserve data quality.
- Support the integration of data across different systems, ensuring consistency and smooth data transitions.
- Monitor and maintain the integrity of databases in collaboration with the Data Manager.
- Collaborate with departments such as engineering, finance, and project management to align data with business needs.
- Maintain digital files in an organized manner for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information in accordance with company policies and legal standards.
- Perform routine data quality audits and checks to uphold data accuracy and consistency.
- Provide administrative support including preparing documents, reports, and communication materials as required.
