Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform services to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. The candidate will work with large datasets, implement modern data architecture, and support enterprise analytics and reporting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory.
  • Build and manage data ingestion frameworks for structured and unstructured data.
  • Develop and maintain data models and ETL/ELT processes using Azure SQL and Fabric.
  • Work with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) for large-scale data storage and processing.
  • Implement data transformation and orchestration workflows.
  • Optimize SQL queries, pipelines, and storage performance.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security across Azure platforms.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, BI developers, and business stakeholders to support analytics use cases.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues.
  • Implement best practices for CI/CD, version control, and deployment in data projects.

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform roles
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric (Primary skill)
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory
  • Strong knowledge of Azure SQL Database / Azure Synapse / SQL
  • Experience with Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2)
  • Experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development
  • Strong SQL query writing and performance optimization
  • Experience with data modeling concepts (Star Schema, Dimensional modeling)
  • Familiarity with data orchestration and scheduling
