Data Engineer

Location- Gurgaon

Relevant Experience - 8-10 years

Nature of the Job- 08:30 - 05:00pm

Mode of Interview- 1st Round Virtual and 2nd Round - Face to Face (if resource is in GGN).

Mandatory Skills

Good Knowledge in Architectural and Design patterns
Architecting, planning and implementation of e2e data warehouse and business intelligence systems utilizing best practices from data architecture, data integration and management areas - 6+ years
Expert data modelling skills; entity relationship as well as dimensional, designing various layers of data warehouse, etc… - 6+ years
Data analysis, source system analysis and data mapping to target data model - 8 to 10 years
Extensive knowledge in data integration architecture/ETL/Data warehouse, esp large volumes with complex integrations - 8+ years
Strong experience in SQL, Snowflake Scripting, Snap logic, Unix shell scripting, Python, Snowflake optimization and scheduling tools along with performance improvement techniques across ETL technology stack with hands-on abilities - 8+ years
Experience with AWS cloud technologies with most of the core features - Lambda, API gateway, S3, Athena, RDS, Dynamo DB , SQS, EC2 etc. and good understanding of AWS WAF Frameworks
Strong DevOps background with understanding of different CI/CD stages till production
Solid experience with AWS, Azure, and Snowflake, including architecture patterns and cloud-native data solutions.

Good to have.

Experience in preparing Technical Documentation (Pseudo Code, Process Flow , Data Model, Class Diagram )
Experience in using Transformation tools like DBT, Data Lineage and Data Virtualization tools
Integration with cloud systems like Oracle Fusion, Concur, Anaplan, etc.
Good understanding of streaming concepts using Kinesis or Kafka, etc.
Exposure to Data quality, complex transformation such as B2B, metadata management, etc…
Exposure and sound understanding of financial services domain - Mutual Funds and Fund accounting
Self-starter with ability to take ownership of end – to – end implementations
Exposure to machine learning platforms( e.g., Azure ML, AWS Sagemaker) and understanding of how data architecture supports AI-driven solutions.

Operating in a quickly changing and ambiguous environment and driving technological innovations to meet business requirements
Good knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI with understanding of different types of reporting, storytelling using visualization, etc…

Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, implementing data models, performing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, and overseeing the development of data warehousing solutions. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze large datasets, providing insights that drive business decisions and innovation.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Data Engineering, including building and maintaining scalable data pipelines
Experience with Data Modeling and designing solutions for complex datasets
Proficiency in implementing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes
Knowledge in Data Warehousing and creating centralized data solutions
Skills in Data Analytics to extract actionable insights from large datasets
Experience with database technologies, distributed systems, and programming languages like SQL, Python, or Spark
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Strong problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for working collaboratively in a team
