Data Analyst

Remote

A Data Analyst plays a vital role in converting raw data into meaningful insights that drive informed business decisions. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to interpret complex datasets, and the capability to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering high-quality analytical outputs.

Responsibilities

Collect and aggregate data from databases, APIs, and other internal/external sources
Clean, validate, and structure datasets to maintain accuracy and consistency
Perform statistical analyses to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights
Use tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, R, and analytics platforms to conduct in-depth analysis
Develop dashboards and visual reports using Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools
Present insights and recommendations in clear, business-friendly formats
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and build analytical solutions
Work with engineering/IT teams to enhance data pipelines and improve data ecosystem efficiency
Monitor KPIs and support business teams with ongoing performance reporting

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one programming language such as Python or R
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
Familiarity with tools such as Apache, Superset, Airflow, Postgres, or Spark
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical findings
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
