Position: Customer Support Specialist
Location: Milford, OH (Onsite)
Duration: FTE/ Direct Hire
Job Description:
The Customer Support Specialist is responsible for providing high‑quality customer service and operational support for auto claims. This role handles inbound phone and email inquiries, resolves claim‑related questions, and ensures timely and accurate processing of documentation and payments.
Respond to inbound calls and emails regarding:
- Status and processing of estimates or supplements
- Payment status for rental, tow, and property damage
- Payment issuance details, including void and reissue requests
- Status of deductibles
- Rental and towing updates
- Total Loss claim updates
Provide guidance on:
- Submitting assignments
- Requesting and receiving copies of estimates
- Understanding supplement workflows, including addressing supplements not yet approved
- Troubleshooting delays or issues with estimates or supplements in process
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to manage high‑volume work with accuracy and efficiency
- Preferred: Experience or background in auto claims or insurance operations
Salary Range :: $35,000-$38,000 a year
