Job Description

  • Prepare and maintain standard costs for sheet metal components and assemblies
  • Analyze material costs including coils, sheets, scrap, and nesting efficiency
  • Monitor labor and machine costs for laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, and finishing operations
  • Perform cost variance analysis (material, labor, overhead) and report deviations
  • Prepare cost sheets based on BOMs, routings, and engineering drawings
  • Support new product costing, quotations, and process change evaluations
  • Track and analyze scrap, rework, and rejection costs
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
  • Ensure accurate inventory valuation of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Experience in sheet metal manufacturing or fabrication industry
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles
  • Proficiency in SAP systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Minimum 8 - 12 years Experience in Sheet metal related knowledge.
