Job Description

Qualification: B.E / B. Tech – Any Engineering, Preferably Mechanical or Civil

Work Experience: 8-12 years

Job Purpose

Develop detailed cost estimate for the assigned specific discipline and maintaining an internal cost database updated with market prices and trends.

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist the Cost Estimator and the Proposal Manager in the bid cost definition
Participate to supply chain and commercial strategy definition and identify the critical site activities to be estimated on subcontractor quotations basis for the correct definition of the construction strategy for the proposal
Liaise with the Construction Department to analyze Bill of Quantities (BoQs).For disciplines to be estimated on subcontractor quotation basis, verify subcontractor' offer, prepare the commercial bid evaluation based on Technical evaluation done by Construction Dept. and finalize the cost estimate
For activities or materials to be estimated in-house (TCF&FRC, minor specialized packages, etc.), liaise with construction, procurement and engineering to prepare the correct in-house quotation
Maintain internal construction cost database updated with market prices
Ensure the assessment of construction cost of all projects base on schedule assigned
Attend internal and JV cost review meeting
Analyse the project technical documents and the subcontractor offer in order to select the best price to be included in the bid cost estimate
