Cloud Engineer – Azure & AWS

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructures, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate, optimise, and evolve our cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructures using Azure and AWS services.

• Deploy, monitor, and maintain virtual networks, compute instances, storage, and other core cloud components.

• Automate cloud deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.

• Manage cloud security — including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance frameworks.

• Optimise cloud cost, performance, and resource utilisation.

• Troubleshoot complex system and network issues in multi-cloud environments.

• Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and incident response plans.

• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to existing setups.

• Configure CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps (added advantage)

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Engineering (B.E) or Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech)

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure deployment

• Strong experience with Azure (VMs, App Services, AKS, Networking, Storage) and AWS (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, Lambda).

• Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation tools is an added advantage.

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).

• Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, VPN, firewalls, load balancers).

• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).

• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
