About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Accounting / Financial Controller to lead global financial accounting, consolidation, and reporting for all VWO entities.

This is a mission-critical leadership role responsible for building and running a robust accounting and compliance framework across a complex, multi-entity, multi-country structure. The role will own consolidated reporting, India GAAP conversion, tax structuring, and end-to-end financial control across jurisdictions.

This position is more than a reporting role; it requires someone who can reinvent processes from scratch, bring rigor to post-merger structures, and build scalable financial systems for a global SaaS business.



Organizational Context

Wingify India is a SaaS Company headquartered in the NCR Region of India, with operations in several countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and Singapore. The group revenue is $100Mn and a headcount of 700 across multiple geographies.



Key Responsibilities

1. Global Consolidation & Reporting

Own consolidated financial reporting across all legal entities

Manage three layers of consolidation across jurisdictions

Convert financial statements into Indian GAAP

Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

Ensure reporting accuracy and timely delivery to leadership and the board

2. Post-Merger Accounting Integration

Reinvent and standardize accounting processes across entities

Align accounting practices between India and France structures

Design scalable reporting systems suited for a global SaaS organization

Drive harmonization of accounting policies and internal controls

3. Taxation & Transfer Pricing

Oversee taxation across 10+ countries

Manage and optimize transfer pricing frameworks

Ensure compliance with cross-border regulatory requirements

Coordinate with international tax advisors

4. Audit & Compliance

Lead statutory audits across jurisdictions

Ensure readiness for multi-country audits

Oversee compliance management across all entities

Establish robust internal financial controls

5. Treasury & Cash Management

Manage global treasury operations

Oversee intercompany transactions and fund flows

Monitor liquidity, FX exposure, and banking relationships

6. Systems & ERP

Own accounting ERP functionality (NetSuite preferred)

Drive ERP optimization and reporting automation

Lead ERP implementation (if applicable)

Ensure system controls and data integrity

7. Governance & Controls

Oversee contract verification and payment approvals

Implement structured approval frameworks

Strengthen financial governance processes

Ensure strong documentation and audit trails



Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
  • 5+ years at a Big Four firm preferred
  • Experience handling complex, multi-entity consolidation
  • Exposure to global tax and transfer pricing frameworks
  • Tech industry background preferred (SaaS experience is a plus)


Qualification

Chartered Accountant (mandatory)


Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of India GAAP
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (highly preferred)
  • ERP implementation experience is an added advantage
  • Experience with SAP or Microsoft Dynamics acceptable if NetSuite unavailable
  • Deep understanding of consolidation tools and reporting systems
