Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose :
Salary Range $ - $ USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.

Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose :
- The Data Architect for Supply Chain Analytics at Colgate-Palmolive is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data architectures to support advanced analytics and reporting in supply chain operations. This role serves as a key enabler for data-driven decision-making by ensuring data availability, quality, and integrity across multiple systems and platforms. The Data Architect collaborates with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, IT, and business stakeholders, to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions. The primary purpose of this position is to build and optimize data models and pipelines that drive supply chain insights, process efficiencies, and business value, while adhering to best practices in data governance and security.
- Design and develop robust data architecture to support supply chain analytics initiatives.
- Create and maintain data models, integration pipelines, and data warehouses for supply chain data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across various systems and sources.
- Implement and enforce data governance, security standards, and best practices.
- Optimize data structures and processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Integrate new data sources and technologies to enhance analytics capabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related technical issues promptly.
- Document data architecture, standards, and data flows for reference and compliance.
- Review program codes and suggest correction in case of any errors
- Conduct performance tuning to improve system performance over multiple business processes
- Provide technical guidance and thought leadership in supply chain data management and analytics.
- Maintain production systems reliability through correct utilization of IT standards and governance processes
- Collaborate with business / functional team, develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation of project.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven 4 to 5 years of experience as a data architect, data engineer, or in a similar data-focused role with exposure to Safe Agile environment, preferably within supply chain or manufacturing industries.
- Strong proficiency in data modeling, database design (relational and non-relational), and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes along with Data orchestration tool - Apache Airflow..
- Experience with modern data warehousing solutions e.g., Snowflake and Data Transformation platform - DBT.
- Proficiency in data integration tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python and Version Management tools - Github.
- Master in Computer Science with Specialisation in Data Science is preferable.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data security, Metadata management and data quality best practices.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes, analytics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) is highly desirable.
- Experience working with SAP business intelligence and Visualisation tools (e.g., Sigma, DOMO).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
