Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

Experience Required: 3 – 7 Years (LAP Credit experience mandatory from Bank / NBFC)

Salary: ₹5 LPA – ₹10 LPA (Negotiable based on experience & portfolio handled)

Job Description (Full JD):

1. Credit Appraisal & Underwriting:

• Evaluate and underwrite Loan Against Property (LAP) applications as per company credit policy.
• Analyze borrower profiles including income, repayment capacity, and credit history.
• Assess collateral/property documents and ensure legal & technical compliance.

2. Personal Discussion (PD) & Customer Interaction:

• Conduct PD with borrowers to understand financial strength and repayment capability.
• Recommend loan approval, rejection, or modifications based on findings.
• Maintain professional client relationships during the appraisal process.

3. Loan Portfolio Management:

• Handle loan ticket sizes ranging from ₹10 lakhs to ₹15 lakhs.
• Monitor portfolio quality and ensure minimal delinquency.
• Coordinate with collection teams to reduce NPAs.

4. Policy & Compliance:

• Ensure all loans comply with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit-ready files.
• Support internal and external audits as required.

5. Branch Coordination:

• Work closely with branch sales teams to support business growth.
• Guide relationship officers on eligibility, documentation, and underwriting processes.
• Participate in branch credit committee discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 – 7 years of experience in LAP Credit from Banks / NBFCs.
• Strong credit underwriting & PD experience.
• Experience managing secured loan portfolios (10–15 Lakh loan size).
• Understanding of property valuation, legal reports, and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.

Educational Qualification:

• Any Graduate (Commerce / Finance / MBA preferred)
