Role Overview

As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in architecting, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical decisions, code quality, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend applications using Node.js/ NestJS
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile platforms
• Design efficient data schemas and work with SQL databases
• Implement robust authentication, authorization, and security standards
• Debug production issues, optimize performance, and improve system reliability
• Collaborate closely with frontend, design, and product teams to deliver high-quality features
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring clean code and best engineering practices
• Assist with deployment, server environments, and release processes
• Contribute to improving system architecture and backend scalability

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of professional experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with NestJS or Express.js
• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven systems
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis
• Basic hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience writing unit and integration tests (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
• Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and clear technical communication abilities

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Exposure to system design and scalable backend patterns
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
