Azure Cloud Security Engineer (medior-senior)

Our partner is a globally recognized consulting and professional services firm, operating in over 150 countries and working with enterprise clients across industries such as finance, telecommunications, and the public sector.

You will join a newly established cloud security competence center in Budapest, built as part of a strategic transition from another European location. The team focuses on large-scale, complex cloud transformation programs, with strong international exposure and long-term project stability.

Tasks:

• Design and implement Azure cloud security solutions (policies, baselines, hardening)
• Manage and optimize identity and access management (IAM) in cloud environments
• Configure and operate security tools (e.g. Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, logging & monitoring)
• Support governance, compliance, and audit processes in an enterprise environment
• Collaborate with cloud, platform, and security teams across international projects
• Contribute to building and scaling a new cloud security capability
  
  
  

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud / Azure security
• Strong practical knowledge of Azure security services and architecture
• Relevant Azure certification (professional level) - e.g. AZ-500, SC-100 or similar
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• English proficiency (written and spoken, professional use)
