Your Role

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in BDD frameworks, API testing using Karate, UI automation with Playwright and Selenium, and SQL for database validation. The ideal candidate will design and implement robust automation frameworks and ensure high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

• Design, develop, and maintain BDD-based automation frameworks using Cucumber or similar tools.
• Implement API automation using Karate for RESTful services.
• Develop UI automation scripts using Microsoft Playwright and Selenium WebDriver.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  
  

Your Profile

• Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing using automation frameworks.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and optimize scripts for performance and reliability.
• Maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Strong programming skills in Java or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, JBehave).
• Expertise in Karate for API testing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Playwright and Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
• Good understanding of SQL for database validation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and version control (Git).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
