Job Title: Automation Test Engineer

Location: Trivandrum (Hybrid) 

Job Overview: 

We are seeking an Automation Tester experienced in migration of test case from Selenium to UI Path test suite. Candidate to streamline testing processes by leveraging automation, ensuring efficiency and accuracy from test creation to result analysis.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Designing and implementing a robust automation framework and infrastructure, facilitating seamless execution of automated tests across various environments.
• Design and execute testing strategies and comprehensive test plans covering functional and non functional requirements.
• Design and develop automation scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Execute test cases and scripts per plans, using automation tools.
• Review and verify test cases and scripts for quality standards.
• Document test results, log defects, and map them to corresponding cases for effective management.
• Perform automated testing from Selenium to UI Path. Create and maintain UI and API automated tests.
• Continuously improve test processes and automation efficiency. Explore new tools, frameworks, and techniques.
• Contribute to developing and maintaining existing automation test frameworks.
• Own the entire QA lifecycle including planning, testing, and reporting.
• Proficient in using Agile software testing methodologies.  

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications: 

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience in Selenium, Mobile Automation, Cypress, QTP, Kubernetes, Docker Containers, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, JavaScript, Ui Path, JMeter, VBScript, API Automation, Scrum Process and JIRA.
• Hands-on experience with Agile software testing methodologies.
• Experience in migration of test case from Selenium to UI Path test.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the pipeline
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
