Audio Visual Warehouse Associate (Seasonal- Part Time)

The Warehouse Technician works with the assigned supervisor and designated associates to furnish Rental Inventory when and where it is needed. Assists with all phases of shipping, receiving, storage, maintenance and control of assigned inventory (“AV”) and assets i.e. delivery vehicles.

The Warehouse Technician includes:

  • Fulfills all I-order needs
  
  
  • Checks in Equipment
  
  
  • Ensures equipment is returned to storage in “rental ready” condition
  
  
  • Recommends items for service when not in new or like new condition
  
  


• Outside Support
  
  
  
  • Back-up support for client calls & inquiries
  
  
  • Quick-set and strikes for basic orders
  
  

Daily Duties & Responsibilities:

• Warehouse
  
  
  
  • Ensure all storage systems and work areas are clean, organized and readily accessible
  
  
  • Refine and optimize use of all processing and storage areas
  
  


• AV Inventory

• Is correctly pulled for delivery or transfer


• Is properly entered on WO and tracked using R2


• Is checked-in (QC) after every use


• All losses or damage are immediately reported to management and resolved


• All inventoried AV is in “like new” condition


• Is periodically accounted for and all discrepancies are investigated and resolved


• AV is properly entered and maintained in Great Plains and R2


• All AV is properly labelled


• Route equipment to appropriate department

• Delivery Vehicles

• All vehicles are clean, properly outfitted, fueled and in good working order


• Manages all phases of sublet maintenance and truck rentals when needed


• May execute all out bound shipments thru outside carriers


• Order and distribute all sales supplies

All other duties and responsibilities assigned including building and grounds maintenance.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or technical school required. Three to five years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, see, hear, talk, walk, sit, and handle tools, computers or controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance. Employee must regularly lift and/or move 50 lbs.; frequently lift and/or move 100 lbs.; and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs. Must be able to drive a personal or company vehicle as required.

• Seasonal, part time, on call, as needed
