Job Description

The Cosm Engineering team develops technology to deliver best-in-class experiences in our digital and live-streaming products. We are looking for a talented Associate QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and user experience across various platforms. We expect our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic when taking on new problems across the full stack as we continue to push the technology forward.

REPORTS TO: QA Manager

Responsibilities

Use technical knowledge to create, execute, and maintain software test cases involving one or more product components and/or features.
Validate functionality of digital and physical products meet requirements.
Write detailed bug reports for defects found during testing.
Deploy latest code for multiple services to the test environments.
Collaborate closely with a cross disciplinary team (Design, Product and Engineering).

Pivotal Experience, Expertise & Personal Characteristics

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
1-3 years of relevant experience in QA.
Working knowledge of the software development process.
Knowledge of software-testing techniques and software-testing life cycle.
Experience with testing services and technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize individual workload to meet required deadlines.
Experience testing mobile and web applications.
Experience working with tools such as Postman, proxies and developer toolbars.
Identify potential risks and issues which may impact quality and user experience.
Experience implementing and maintaining automated tests.
Extensive experience writing test cases, test plans and documentation.
Experience with JIRA and Github.
