Job Description
A Salesforce Product Owner with Experience Cloud expertise is expected to manage the product lifecycle, define feature priorities, and bridge business requirements with technical implementation, ensuring that Salesforce solutions deliver measurable business value.
Core Responsibilities
A Product Owner role with Salesforce Experience Cloud experience typically includes the following responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering and Backlog Management: Capturing business requirements, defining user stories, and managing product backlogs to ensure development aligns with business priorities
Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to maintain alignment on product features and priorities
Product Strategy and Execution: Guiding the development of Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions throughout the full product lifecycle; ensuring that the implementation supports organizational goals
Coordination of Releases and UAT: Coordinating user acceptance testing cycles and cross-functional project teams to ensure smooth delivery of product updates
Performance Analysis and Optimization: Utilizing analytics and business data to identify opportunities for improving Experience Cloud applications
Required Experience And Skills
Hands-On Salesforce Experience: 8+ years with Salesforce, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and notably Experience Cloud
Certifications: Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Sales Cloud or Experience Cloud related certifications, are often preferred to validate technical proficiency
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps for backlog and sprint management
Analytical and Technical Expertise: Ability to translate business needs into Salesforce solutions and leverage analytics to guide product decisions
Communication Skills: Strong skills for coordinating between stakeholders, developers, and end users, ensuring clarity in requirements and expectations
