Post: Associate Professor / Professor

Specialization: Machine Learning / Data Analytics / Artificial Intelligence

Department: Computer Applications / Computer Science and Engineering

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Teaching lectures in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and allied areas.

• Design, develop, and update curriculum, course content, lesson plans, and laboratory manuals as

per UGC/AICTE guidelines and industry oriented.

• Guide students in projects, dissertations, and research work.

• Publish research papers in SCI / Scopus / Web of Science indexed journals.

• Supervise Ph.D. scholars (for Professor position) and guide postgraduate research.

• Participate in academic administration and accreditation processes (NAAC/NBA).

• Contribute to FDPs, workshops, seminars, and conferences.

• Promote industry–academia collaboration, consultancy, and interdisciplinary research.

• Mentor junior faculty members.

Essential Qualifications (UGC / AICTE Norms):

For Associate Professor:

• Ph.D. in Computer Applications / Computer Science / AI / Data Science from a recognized

university.

• Master’s Degree (MCA / M.Tech) with minimum 55% marks.

• NET qualification or exemption as per UGC regulations (NET is only for Computer Applications candidates).

• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience.

• At least 7 research publications in SCI / Scopus / Web of Science indexed journals.

For Professor:

• Ph.D. in Computer Applications / Computer Science / AI / Data Science from a recognized

university.

• Master’s Degree (MCA / M.Tech ) with minimum 55% marks.

• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience with at least 3 years as Associate Professor.

• At least 10 research publications in SCI / Scopus / Web of Science journals.

• Experience in Ph.D. supervision and academic leadership.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• Expertise in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Analytics tools.

• Proficiency in Python, R, and AI/ML frameworks.

• Experience in curriculum development, MOOCs, and online teaching platforms.

• Exposure to funded research projects, consultancy, patents, or industry collaboration.

Pay scale and selection process shall be as per the latest UGC / AICTE norms applicable at the

time of appointment
