About The Role
Product Designers at Responsive collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other product designers on all areas of user experience, research, prototyping, interaction design, and visual design. We care about the details, empathize deeply, and are comfortable with ambiguity. We’re fluent in the design thinking processes necessary to identify the problem, craft solutions, and build paradigm-shifting products for the organizations who use our products.
As an Associate Product Designer you’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow your skillset while contributing to products under the guidance of design leaders. You’ll be asked to contribute to the full product lifecycle of design from ideation to visual design. You’ll create quick sketches to help the team test concepts, create detailed user flows, build prototypes for high fidelity concepts, and collaborate with other members of the product and engineering teams.

You’ll be asked to contribute to the full product lifecycle of design from ideation to visual design. You’ll create quick sketches to help the team test concepts, create detailed user flows, build prototypes for high fidelity concepts, and collaborate with other members of the product and engineering teams.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user-friendly, scalable, and accessible digital experiences.
- Use design thinking methodologies to identify user pain points, define solutions, and prototype new features.
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma.
- Work within and contribute to our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across our products.
- Partner with developers to ensure design intent is maintained throughout implementation.
- Participate in user research and testing to validate design decisions and gather insights.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine solutions.
- 2+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or visual design.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Experience working with design systems and creating reusable UI components.
- Strong systems-thinking mindset, able to break down workflows into intuitive experiences.
- A human-centered design approach, always considering the user’s needs and behaviors.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Product Managers, Developers, and other Designers.
- A portfolio showcasing product design work, including problem-solving approaches and design process.
- Experience designing for enterprise or SaaS products.
- Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and front-end development constraints.
- Experience participating in usability testing and qualitative/quantitative research.
