Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science Engineering, based in the Mohali district. The Assistant Professor will engage in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, contribute to curriculum development, and participate in research activities. Primary responsibilities include delivering lectures, supervising student research, developing innovative teaching methods, and publishing high-quality research in reputable journals. The role also involves mentoring students in both academic and extracurricular pursuits.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related field, with a strong academic and research background.
• Master's degree in computer science from any premier institute/university.
• Proficiency in Computer Science and specialized areas such as Data Science and Cybersecurity.
• Experience in Curriculum Development and academic program management.
• Strong skills in Programming and software development.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality research and publish in reputable journals.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Prior teaching experience in higher education is preferred.
• Ability to contribute to a collaborative and interdisciplinary academic environment.
• Proven experience in securing research funding is an advantage.
