Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain responsive, high‑quality front‑end applications using React and Next.js.
Design and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs with Node.js or Django, ensuring compliance with OWASP Top 10 standards.
Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC) and enforce security best practices (input validation, rate limiting, secure headers).
Architect and optimize relational database schemas, queries, and transactions using MySQL/SQL for performance and reliability.
Building data pipelines, ETL processes, and working with big data/cloud data platforms (Azure & GCP).
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) to enable automated testing and deployments.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in agile environments to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver projects end‑to‑end.
Maintain version control and branching strategies using Git for collaborative development.
Optimize application performance, monitor reliability, and implement caching strategies where needed.
Drive adherence to coding standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
Ensure comprehensive code documentation using JSDoc, Swagger/OpenAPI, and maintain clear API specifications.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system scalability and security.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with deep experience in React and Next.js.
Proven expertise in designing and building RESTful APIs with advanced security measures.
Solid understanding of MySQL/SQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization).
Experience with data engineering tools (e.g., SQL, ETL, data modeling, cloud data services)
Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated deployment workflows.
Familiarity with JSDoc, Swagger/OpenAPI for documentation.
Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on AWS/Azure/GCP.
Ability to work with Node.js and flexibility to deliver back‑end services in Python/Django.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to own projects from concept to deployment.

Good to have

Broader Python skills for scripting, automation, or data tasks.
Advanced cloud capabilities, including serverless architecture and managed services.
Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
Familiarity with caching (Redis) and messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress) for unit and integration testing.
