Job Description

CareCore at Margaret Hall is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. This is a great opportunity for a strong clinical leader who is passionate about quality care, team development, and supporting daily nursing operations in a skilled nursing facility.

Position Summary

The ADON supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of resident care. This role plays a key part in staff supervision, clinical oversight, and driving positive outcomes for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the DON with daily clinical operations and staff management
  • Support and supervise nursing staff, including scheduling and coaching
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in audits, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Monitor clinical documentation and resident care outcomes
  • Assist with survey readiness and follow-up
  • Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment


Qualifications

  • Current unencumbered RN license in the state of Ohio
  • Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
  • Strong knowledge of LTC regulations and survey process
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience with EMR systems preferred
