Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jeddah for an Assistant Roaster at Medd Café & Roastery. The Assistant Roaster will work closely with the roasting team to assist in executing daily roasting operations, including roasting specialty coffee, monitoring and adjusting roasting profiles, and ensuring consistency and quality in coffee production. Additional responsibilities include assisting with quality control checks, maintaining equipment, and supporting the team with training initiatives. The role requires dedication to precision, teamwork, and a passion for specialty coffee.

Qualifications

• Experience in Coffee Roasting and knowledge of Specialty Coffee fundamentals
• Skills in Quality Control and adherence to production standards
• Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality coffee
• Basic mechanical skills for maintaining and troubleshooting roasting equipment are a plus
• Willingness to learn and grow within a specialty coffee-focused environment
• Prior experience in a similar role or relevant training is advantageous
