Job Title: Assembly Engineer

Overview

We are supporting a requirement for an Assembly Engineer to join an industrial products project based in Warrington. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting machine deliverables, ensuring assembly standards are met, and assisting with operator training to support production readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Support assembly and machine-related deliverables across the project lifecycle
• Ensure assembly processes meet required technical and quality standards
• Assist with the development and implementation of production and assembly procedures
• Support the training and development of operators on assembly equipment and processes
• Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve technical issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly environment

Requirements

• Experience in an assembly engineering or manufacturing engineering role
• Background within the automotive sector preferred
• Experience with Tier 1 suppliers to Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) would be advantageous
• Familiarity with companies such as Magna International or IAC Group would be beneficial
• Strong understanding of manufacturing standards, assembly processes, and production environments

Location

This role is based in Warrington and will involve working closely with onsite engineering and production teams.
