Job Description

Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets and possess a strong ability to liquidate stocks.
Create and manage budgets.
Create and implement sales and marketing strategies.
Lead a team of field force.
Create a network of dealers/distributors in the entire state.
Create an environment for promoting and adapting the products of the company within the state.
Develop and implement marketing and brand promotional activities through farmer meets.
Build a good relationship with state agriculture officers.
Create a good rapport with the team at the head office and with the sales and marketing teams of other states.
Maintain accurate records of expenses related to sales and marketing activities in that state.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture.
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Area Manager in Central West Bengal.
Demonstrated skill in creating and managing a dealer/distributor network.
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets for at least 5 consecutive years.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Ability to work independently and possess troubleshooting skills.
Aptitude to create and manage a marketing field force - an entire team of Assistant Managers, Sales Officers and Field Agents in the assigned state.
Demonstrated skill in handling marketing and other allied tasks.
Demonstrated technical expertise in the regional agronomy practices.
Demonstrated fluency in Bengali, Hindi and English.
